What is DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)?
DACA Requirements:
Arrived in the U.S. Before the Age of 16

The applicant must have entered the U.S. before turning 16 and lived continuously in the U.S. since then.
Under 31 Years of Age on June 15, 2012

Applicants must have been under the age of 31 on June 15, 2012, when DACA was first announced.
Continuous Residence in the U.S. Since June 15, 2007

Applicants must prove they have been continuously present in the U.S. since June 15, 2007, and that they were in the U.S. on June 15, 2012, the day DACA was introduced
High School Graduate, Currently in School, or a Veteran

Applicants must either have graduated from high school, obtained a GED, be currently enrolled in school, or have served in the military.
No Serious Criminal Convictions

DACA applicants must not have been convicted of serious criminal offenses, such as felonies, significant misdemeanors, or multiple misdemeanors.
No Deportation Orders

The applicant must not have been previously deported or currently under a deportation order. Applicants must not be a threat to national security or public safety.
